When human beings experience life stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to feel as though they are unraveling. With 22 years of experience in the counselling field, I strive to create a space where people feel heard, respected, and safe. I enjoy working with youth, adults and parents to create a personalized approach that results in personal growth. We can work to build coping skills, strive towards growth, and bring about change. I have supported individuals dealing with: depression, anxiety, addictions, stress, emotion dysregulation, anger, grief, self-esteem issues, life transitions, traumatic experiences, and challenges supporting youth/parent/family member and friends who are struggling with addiction. I support parents in fine-tuning their approach to strengthen their relationships with there loved ones. I use a variety of evidence-based techniques such as, somatic experiencing, emotion-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing etc.
