I work with children, adolescents, and adults to help them achieve their optimal mental health. I believe that no one should have to suffer alone, and I aim to create a warm and safe therapeutic environment for exploration and growth. I draw from attachment theory, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness and client-centered approaches to offer an integrative therapeutic experience for my clients to best fit their needs and goals. I am particularly interested in working with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, adjustment difficulties, relationship issues, emotional regulation, and family dynamics. I also provide psycho-educational assessments. When working with children, I am excited to offer a variety of creative approaches to help engage children and youth of any age. I have experience providing therapy and assessments in a variety of settings, including community-based, hospital, forensic and private-practice environments. I obtained my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at the University of Manitoba, and am in the process of completing my PhD in Clinical Psychology. At the Kanata Psychology and Counselling Centre, my practice is supervised by Dr. Rebecca Moore (registered clinical psychologist).
