I am a clinical psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. I work with children, adolescents, and adults to help them achieve their optimal mental health, through both assessment and therapy. I believe that no one should have to suffer alone, and I aim to create a warm and safe therapeutic environment for exploration and growth. I draw from cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), mindfulness and client-centered approaches to offer an integrative therapeutic experience for my clients to best fit their needs and goals.I am particularly interested in working with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, fertility/pregnancy loss/peri-natal/post-partum
difficulties, relationship issues, emotional regulation, and family dynamics. When working with children, I am excited to offer a variety of creative approaches to help engage children and youth of any age. I also provide psycho-educational assessments to help individuals achieve their maximum potential in their schooling. Individuals may struggle academically for a variety of reasons, including difficulties with attention, learning disorders, or the impact of mental health concerns such as anxiety. These assessments can provide an in-depth look into an individual’s strengths and weaknesses, and can provide recommendations for academic success.
I have experience providing therapy and assessments in a variety of settings, including community-based, hospital, forensic and private-practice environments. I completed my pre-doctoral residency at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, primarily in the Youth Psychiatry program. I obtained my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Manitoba in 2020. I have also received additional training from Postpartum Support International in perinatal mental health.
