I work with children, adolescents, and adults to help them achieve their optimal mental health, through both assessment and therapy. I believe that no one should have to suffer alone, and I aim to create a warm and safe therapeutic environment for exploration and growth. I draw from cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), mindfulness and client-centered approaches to offer an integrative therapeutic experience for my clients to best fit their needs and goals. I am particularly interested in working with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, adjustment difficulties, relationship issues, emotional regulation, and family dynamics. When working with children, I am excited to offer a variety of creative approaches to help engage children and youth of any age. I also provide psycho-educational assessments. I have experience providing therapy and assessments in a variety of settings, including community-based, hospital, forensic and private-practice environments. I completed my pre-doctoral residency at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, primarily in the Youth Psychiatry program. I obtained my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Manitoba in 2020. At the Kanata Psychology and Counselling Centre, my practice is supervised by Dr. Rebecca Moore (registered clinical psychologist).
