Golnaz Ghaderi (She/her), M.Ed., M.A., PhD candidate

I am a PhD practicum student in the Clinical Psychology Program at the University of Ottawa. Under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer Barnes, I provide evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention services to adults with developmental and mental health disorders.

I use an integrative approach including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response prevention, Schema Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I provide assessment and intervention services for a range of concerns including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, obsessive and compulsive disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, as well as emotional and behavioural regulation. I use a strength-based approach, through which clients feel empowered by gaining insight into their strengths and challenges, while I guide and teach them skills to reach their therapeutic and personal goals and improve their overall well-being.
