With empathic guidance and support, I strongly believe that people can increase their self-understanding, improve relationships and well being, move through life transitions, cope with loss and trauma, increase vitality and feel empowered to make changes in their life. I have supported individuals dealing with: depression, anxiety, stress, emotion dysregulation, anger, grief, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, life transitions, traumatic experiences (i.e. childhood and adult emotional, verbal, physical and sexual abuse), addiction and challenges supporting family members and friends who are struggling with addiction. My approach to therapy is collaborative, warm, non-judgmental and interactive. Together we will determine your therapeutic goals, work to better understand the nature of your difficulties and resolve your challenges. I am deeply committed to respecting your individuality and will support you to move towards your goals at your own pace. I integrate various therapeutic approaches and use evidence-based techniques tailored to your specific needs such as calming nervous system reactions, alleviating symptoms, and exploring how your early life relationships are shaping your current relationships resulting in increasing self-awareness. My practice includes providing support for individuals (18+) and family members and friends who are supporting a loved one who is struggling with substance use.
